The smash hit Megadrive title, Taz-Mania, is scheduled for release on the Game Gear, and looks like being just as cool as its 16-bit relative!

As you might suspect, you take control of the Tazmanian Devil himself, endowed with the bizarre ability to eat just about anything. What’s more, you’re able to spin yourself into a veritable whirlwind and use this bizarre power to knock out any enemy foolish enough to cross your path. Just like the Megadrive version, the game is based around a platform environment, with Taz himself charged with the task of duffing up meanies and finding the exits to each level.

The Megadrive version was noted for its superb graphics, and although the backdrops have been toned down detail-wise, the sprites still look just as brilliant as their 16-bit cousins.
